This paper proposes pulse width modulation schemes for a two-level five-phase voltage source inverter. According to the literature, generation of pure sinusoidal waveform requires an (n-1) number vectors 'n' phases, so in system, minimum four-vectors is needed generate waveform. The author uses only two large this Vector diagram, switching table, and have presented adjacent space vectors. performance each PWM scheme analyze based on fundamental components total harmonic distortion. In last, results verified Simulink environment.
